Poppy says "Don't use invasive plants in your landscape design."
Do you only use native plants?
I don't, although I use them pretty heavily. Most of my favorite plants are natives.
What are some of your favorite materials to use in the landscape?
Probably boulders, flagstone, lots of river rock, gravel and cor-ten steel. Local materials are best and carry a smaller environmental footprint.
What are some of your favorite plants?
Too many to list! But the top that come to mind are oakleaf hydrangeas, red yucca, lambs ear, ferns and so many of the native flowers.
What can I expect when working with you?
Some of my special touches are to incorporate your items into a design. I love working with stone, boulders and sometimes, if requested, to add a special piece that the client loves. Many of my designs are planned around children and dogs. This is your space and I want it to work for ALL the residents, even the furry ones.
Do you guarantee plants?
Plants are living things which require continued care and maintenance. We aim to select the most appropriate plants for the quoted services and give clear instruction on post-planting care for you to undertake, like providing Watering Guidelines. We guarantee the plants are in great condition and free from disease at the time of planting. We only use responsible local nurseries and not Big Box Store plants. We do not take responsibility for the plants once installation is complete. Even water-wise plants and landscaping need water and care while the roots get established, especially during the extreme weather of North Texas, and newly planted trees need 6 months to one year of watering and care to thrive.
